Sakura Fireworks Festival is one of the largest light art events in Chiba Prefecture, held on the vast lakeside of Inbanuma. Held every year from summer to autumn, the fireworks that illuminate the night sky and vast lake surface in vivid colors captivate all who visit.

2. Fantastic “Water Fireworks”: The sight of fireworks thrown from a boat toward the surface of Lake Inbanuma and the beautiful semicircular shape that opens on the water’s surface is a must-see. This is a special performance unique to the lakeside.
Access and basic information
📍 Location: Lake Inbanuma, Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture (around Sakura Furusato Hiroba)
🚉 Access: Within walking distance from Keisei Sakura Station or Keisei Usui Station, or by special shuttle bus (details will be announced at the time of the event)

Manners and tips for viewing (for foreign tourists)
・Congestion countermeasures: Due to the large number of visitors, the surrounding roads will be congested, so we strongly recommend using public transportation. Be sure to purchase your return ticket and charge your IC card when you arrive at the station.
・Insect repellent measures: Since the event will be held near the water, it will be a good idea to bring insect repellent spray for mosquitoes and other insects after the evening.
・Photography tips: When photographing fireworks over water, the key is to secure a spot early that offers a wide view of the lake surface. Please pay attention to the signboards as tripod use may be limited to designated areas.
