Lunch at Rekihaku: Ancient curry at restaurant “Sakura”

Comfortable lunch time inside the museum

“Restaurant Sakura” inside the Rekihaku Museum is the perfect spot to take a break when you get tired from walking around the vast exhibits. You can see the greenery of Sakura Castle Ruins Park from the window.

The most popular dishes are “Ancient Curry” and “Ancient Hayashi Rice,” which are made using ancient rice (rice that has been cultivated since ancient times, such as black rice). This is a unique dish that combines Japanese Western food culture and history.

🍛 Taste the famous “Ancient Curry”

We also have a wide variety of traditional Japanese set menus, such as Katsudon and Udon. Foreign travelers can also enjoy a classic Japanese lunch with peace of mind.

🍱 Other recommended menus

Rekihaku is very large, so we recommend seeing half of it in the morning, eating at the restaurant at lunch, and seeing the rest of the exhibits in the afternoon. You can re-enter the venue on the same day by presenting your ticket stub.
